An Update From Disney!

Greetings from Disney!
I have internet for a bit, (because I am supposed to be finishing schoolwork...haha)
and wanted to say HI!  I miss you guys, but am having a blast.
I can't get over the amazing weather.
I almost forgot what it was like to wear shorts and not be cold!

Here are a few pictures so far...
Upon arrival we rushed over to Kennedy Space Center to see the Discovery Space Shuttle Launch.
It was an amazing sight...

The next day we lounged by the pool a few hours and,
oops, I got sunburnt.  But just one line down my arms and legs...
I know, I am a dork.

Since then we have ridden rides...

Met characters...

Watched parades and fireworks...

My husband as gotten dessert and chocolate to his hearts content..

My niece has met her idol.... Ariel.

We even rode Dumbo...

And of course, admired the castle at night...

And we aren't even halfway through!

I have started picking up items for my giveaway and it has been so hard to choose...
I think you all will like it though.

See you Friday or Saturday friends!!!

  6. What a once in a lifetime experience to watch a shuttle launch! My husband and I are talking about trying to see the launch in April. Do you watch from really far away... or do they not let spectators get very close?

It looks like you're enjoying the weather and having a blast at Disney... enjoy the rest of your vacation. (:

  8. Emily- I pretty much do ANYTHING to get out of homework!

kelly- my husband saw your comment and we spent the bus ride from magic kingdom to our resort looking through your blog while I told him how awesome you and your husband were. haha!

erin, mandy, megan-- thanks guys, I am having a really great time. I wish I could send the sun and fun to you all as well!

ashley-- you can pay to go over to kennedy space center and watch the shuttle launch, which after seeing it from a distance, I would TOTALLY pay to go see it up close. I guess they sell out really fast though. Seeing it from Titusville, FL (a few miles away) was really great too though. It is something everyone should do once. You won't ever forget it, and the energy of the crowds are amazing.... everyone is so proud of America. :)

Meghan-- thanks! more pics to come!
