Birthday Celebrations...

This was a weekend of birthday celebrations.
We celebrated my niece's 5th birthday...
everyone has been calling it the birthday that never ends because it
started at Disney and now she has had about three parties.
Saturday it was a Mario/Hello Kitty party.

Miss Kloey Grace, (another niece) has started becoming increasingly vocal and smiley.
It is so fun to watch the babies grow up.

Then, we were off to Grand Rapids...
to celebrate my beautiful, talented, BF's 26th birthday.
This drink was called the rocket pop.  Which tasted exactly like the popsicle.  It was amazing!

In other random and totally unrelated news,

I love the Vampire Diaries.

I know, I know.
I am not sure how I got sucked in.
But it's really good.
Way better than Twilight.

I was going to segway, but let's keep it random.

So, also,
Today I am reflecting and trying to live this verse:

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."

Proverbs 16:3

  3. A mario and hello kitty party, how fun! The girls I nanny for (the oldest one is 5, too!) love playing mario. not the game itself, but pretending they are the characters. they always ask me to be mario, all I know to say is "itsa meee, mario!" in that accent he has. ha!

  5. That Rocket Pop drink looks delicious... and so cool that they put a popsicle stick in it! I couldn't really get into Vampire Diaries, and I don't know why... other than I have a hard time committing time to most tv shows. I love your transition into that bible verse too! (:

  12. Oh goodness, those darn vampire love stories are so addicting! I saw a student reading Twilight during my first year of teaching, and the next thing I knew I was on the fourth novel and talking to my cousin about it on. the. phone. I don't think I am ready to get myself into that mess again... yet. Thanks for letting me know what I should read next :)
