| Bella is sticking her tongue out at you. What a little punk. |
Continuing with my 4th of July weekend, I am going to post some pictures of Estes Park, CO & Rocky Mountain National Park. The Rockies are just incredibly beautiful and the pictures don't really do it justice, you get about three different terrains and climates all within a one hour drive and wildlife is everywhere. One day I am going to go back there and camp, and I WILL see a Moose. Or a bear. Or both. And it will be epic. And I will blog about it.
Until that time, here are some select photos of the Rockies. I will upload the rest to our Facebook Page. If you haven't "liked" us there, you should! You will get new posts right in your news feed, how convenient, yes?

Now that I have finished this post I realized that I totally skipped Boulder, CO. My bad.
Tomorrow I will do the Boulder pictures! Ugh, I am losing it guys!
Also, I have to comment on the Casey Anthony Trial and say I think the jury
was/is insane and they are letting someone or some people get away with murder.
Obviously a crime was committed. I don't think we will ever know the truth though.
And secondly, Teen Mom last night?!?!? Holy train wrecks. All of them.
Except maybe Maci. GEEEEZ.
{Happy HUMp Day!}

Gorgeous pictures! I need to head over to Colorado asap! :)
ReplyDeleteAll of your pictures are gorgeous!! I want to go :) ha I missed Teen Mom last night! ugh
ReplyDeleteThese pictures kinda/sorta make me miss Colorado. I also love how you're wearing a sweater by the waterfalls... I don't know that I'll ever get to wear a sweater again here in sweaty Florida! Yuck. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know Ashley... I gotta say, I kinda love you too girl. (: Hope you have a great day.
Your pictures are always gorgeous, and they make me want to travel alllllll the timeeeeee now!!! I love the one of the snow melting and flowing onto the road, and the one of you under the snow. Thanks for sharing your adventures!!
ReplyDeleteI've live in the rocky mountains most of my life and there's no place like it. :) I love it so much! So glad you got to experience them!
ReplyDeleteOh also, totally agree about the Casey Anthony trial. If she didn't do it, SOMEONE did, and it's pathetic and sick that they let her go. Ugh! America...
ReplyDeleteLet's just be honest and say that you took some GORGEOUS pictures - National Geographic gorgeous. I can't get over the stillness of the water at Bear Lake!!! Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had cable and could've watched Teen Mom last night! I kind of miss the train wrecks!
Don't you love the support from blogging! I really consider you all as my friends. I kinda love you too...not to soon though! I hope that your Lupus is very mild and that there aren't many complications.
ReplyDeleteAnyway...I LOVED Estes Park when I went in HS. Gorgeous photos as always. God is some kind of artist!
Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how fun! And Bella is ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteI am glad I'm not alone. I would LOVE to see a bear.
UMMM I LOVE THIS!!!
ReplyDelete1. Because I love Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains...
2. You need to go up to Fall River Road up the windy road to the top where it is the highest highway...in Colorado? or the US? I'm not sure google it...now that is gorgeous too! It is up in Estes!
3. My dad, brother, & my chihuahua was on a trail up there (Estes Park) the same weekend as you and got a picture of my dog next to a no dog sign that looks just like yours!!!
4. Pretty pictures...Colorado is great right?!
And okay that is all for now...hope you feel better :)
And maybe you can win a giveaway on my blog? Ha.
Ashley Sloan
We live near Tahoe, so we get the snow thing too. 100 degrees down here in the valley, drive 25 minutes and you have walls of snow. We had snowboarders on the 4th of July.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day! And yeah, I'll take one of those mustangs too.
That's SNOW that you're standing in front of?! Crazy!!
ReplyDeleteThe Casey Anthony verdict literally makes me sick. That poor little girl got ZERO justice. I'm not a parent yet but I don't understand how you can 1). not report your child missing and 2). hurt someone that small (or really anyone, for that matter).
Alright, I'm done talking about it because now I'm angry and sad.
i love your red sweater!
ReplyDeleteo gosh! I'm so sorry about your diagnosis! I hear lupus is awful! You can do it though! you look vibrant and full of life :) glad you got to have a day of fun!
ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures! I so want to go there now!!! :D

ReplyDeleteI almost lost all my breath when I saw the Red Mustang. This has been on my wishlist since I was 16! Same color and everything! I will one day have it! *sigh*
I love the photos on your blog. They make me feel like 'i was there' and that is always a plus when reading a new blog.
Hope you're enjoying the rest of your Friday!
Oh my goodness, these are the coolest pictures ever... of the coolest place too!
