I Think My Husband Is Trying To OFF Himself...

Oh yeah,  That is my husband on Lake Michigan...  Another RED FLAG (aka:  do not swim!) day and he decides to take the seadoo out onto the massive waves.  So massive that he was AIRBOUND 50% off the time as you can see above.  This makes me feel panicky, he loves it.  So of course, I sat on the beach while he got all that daredevil stuff out of his system.  This along with the extremely dangerous pier jumping a few weeks ago and I am certain I better take out some serious life insurance policies on this guy.  Geez. The pictures you saw a few weeks ago were from Holland, Michigan.  These photos were taken in South Haven, MI.  Both equally lovely lake towns...full of cute shops, dining and of course, the beach.  I love South Haven because it has a lighthouse and I love the pier.  Here are a few more pictures...

Can you tell how CRAZY and strong the waves are?

THE WAVES WERE SO STRONG THAT THIS BOAT ALMOST CRASHED INTO TWO SMALLER SAILBOATS IN THE CHANNEL!

Isn't Michigan fun?  I bet you never knew we had so many awesome beaches, did you?
It is basically like Panama City without the STD's and trash.

and p.s. I am obsessed with THIS SONG lately, anyone else love this band?

  6. Yep, life insurance policy sounds like a good idea... and a big one. Your husband reminds me of mine. Anything he can do to scare the pants off me he's in.

  13. So, I was just thinking...

I'm pretty sure you were a HUGE skeptic about Lake Michigan (and Michigan in general) when you first moved there.... I think we had to convince you that it was very cool, and very awesome, and that you couldn't even see across the lake, thats how big it was.

Am I right, am I right?
