Halloween is right around the corner, and BOY do I LOVE dressing up.
This is husband and I two years ago...obviously we weren't engaged yet because no man wears tights if he isn't trying to win some serious points. I am pretty sure now that we are married no amount of begging or pleading could get him into those again...
And this is us last year. You are just so jealous of our nerd outfits aren't you?
I am not sure if we will be dressing up this year...we are most likely moving to south carolina and I am not sure if we will even be around anyone we know so it might be pointless to dress up. Bella has her outfit though, and she is going to look adorable. You will have to wait to see it. I originally wanted to dress husband, myself and Bella up as paper, rock, scissors because I thought that would be the easiest costume next to "homeless person" or "mummy" (both of which I was countless years in a row growing up due to lack of costume funds)....
Are any of you dressing up? Getting your significant others to dress up with you?
Let me know! And all South Carolinians be on alert...we are coming to your state!

South Carolina?? That's not close to Ohio :( Oh well, sounds like a fun new adventure!!
ReplyDeleteI love your costumes from the past few years lol...too cute :) I never really got into Halloween as a kid, we always borrowed costumes from my cousins or used play-clothes to make costumes and stuff (also lack of costume funds). But last year was the first time I went to a party ever, so I dressed as a candy corn--I made a sandwich board out of posterboard and painted it like a candy corn! It was awesome and I might do it again this year because I loved it so much, lol.
SOUTH CAROLINA?! FOR REALS?! GREENVILLE, PERHAPS? sorry for the caps.
ReplyDeleteMy Boy and I are doing a steampunk cinderella/prince this year, I think!
ReplyDeleteAlso, SC? Sweet!
Oh my goodness! You are the most adorable nerd ever! How fun!
ReplyDeleteYou guys look awesome! Haha! I was a hobo last yr w my sister and it was so fun!
ReplyDeleteAww i love y'all! Such cute nerds! lol
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! David and I just moved to North Carolina...but we're 1 mile from the South Carolina border! On the Western side of the state. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteDavid and I were going to dress up last year for halloween....it was our first one being married! I had awful over the top makeup, teased hair, on and a dress that a 40 year old housewife would wear and I had trophies in hand....I was a trophy wife...get it?! haha. And David was just going to draw a 6 pack on him and lift his shirt up every now and then...he was going to be the Situation.
But then David got sick and we had to cancel. wamp wamppp!
This post made me chuckle, I love the costumes :)
ReplyDeleteAlso where are you going in SC?!!?
dang. i totally had my fingers crossed for scotland...
ReplyDeletei just dont know about dressing up...people go crazy here for halloween..but unlike america the girls dont dress like cats and mice aka sluts and whores...so that really limits my options.
These are funny!!! Neither of those pictures look like you!
ReplyDeleteLove the costumes! So fun. I'm not sure what my hubby and I are gonna be this year...maybe a homeless person or a mummy ;)
ReplyDeleteI lived in Greenville, SC for 3 years and loved it. I hope that is where you are moving (if you do end up in SC)!
ReplyDeleteMy husband knows I just want an excuse to wear a cute dress and heels, so I asked if we could go as a Stepford couple. He just chuckled, but he said yes! I have plenty of heels...just need to find the right dress ;) He's going to wear khakis and a button up and we'll probably find him some glasses to complete the look
ReplyDeleteI love dressing up. Last year we went as Fry and Leela from Futurama. We're not sure what we're doing this week yet.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are costume pros! Too cute. I'm not sure what we'll be this year...I think last year we were bumblebees, randomly:-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I feel about this South Caroline nonsense... it's not Florida. ;) No actually S.C. sounds pretty darn nice. I say dress up if you want to... even if you don't know anyone! I'm not sure if we're going to do anything for Halloween this year... we're probably both working or something. Who knows.
ReplyDeletehaha-he totally scored points for those tights! You need to dress up!! I LOVE the paper, rock, scissors!! I've decided...I'm going to be the Coppertone girl. Ha! Not sure what Beau will be...unless he wants to play the dog biting at my butt he's on his own this year lol.
ReplyDeleteA couple years ago I was a hunter and he was my deer...lol. (Semi goes with my "fashion" post from today huh!?)
you two are absolutely adorable! cant wait to see what costumes you both have this halloween, only a month away! well almost
ReplyDeleteummm....you and the hubby are adorable!
ReplyDeleteohmygosh! i love halloween and dressing up so much. I have a wedding for the second year in a row this year so now halloween costumes for me!
ReplyDeleteLove the first one! How cute. Paper rock scissors is pretty much the best idea I have ever heard of... Me? Yeah I'm dressing up as a hunter... Poo. It's a work thing.
