So there is this place called Broadway at the Beach... we live about a mile away from it.
I don't really get it, because its nothing like broadway.
And, it's not on the beach either.
It's more like a mile and a half of shops surrounding a waterway with lots of
eateries, shops, ripley's aquariums, fair rides, etc. etc. etc.
They have a really good frozen yogurt place, and we have eaten there twice.
YUM. Bella was feeling pretty sad (probably about her surgery) and being a clingy daddy's girl...
So we decided to head down the road for some frozen yogurt.
See that sushi place to the right? It is called King Kong Sushi and I am going to be eating
my weight in dragon rolls this weekend. Also, down the path to the left is a place called
Shucker's Raw Bar. They have happy hour every day from 4-7 with all oysters 50% off.
I am pretty sure we will be making a trip there as well over the weekend.
(basically my life revolves around food)
Bella got skinny vanilla.
Because she needs to watch her girlish figure, you know...
We did some walking around, the lights there at night are so pretty.
We looked at wonderworks, and "upside down" building from across the lake.
We might go there, or to Ripley's aquarium to see the sharks this weekend as well.
Upside down building or sharks? I think its a win win, either way.
and a few more shots from the evening....
also, husband does a really good impression of a serial killer, right?
Creepy Mc-Creepster.

Today I am going to look for some things to make bracelets that are going to go towards raising some money for baby Bella's surgery. I will experiment with some treats this weekend too, but I wanted to also have something available for those who do not have pets but want to see baby Bella's little knee fixed up. POOR LITTLE PEANUT. She limps everywhere she goes and it makes me so sad. I figure if I sell bracelets for about $15 bucks, I only have to make about 120 sales and that will cover the cost.
I hope I can do it sooner than later so poor puppy doesn't start getting arthritis.
I mean, just look at that face....
she is saying "pwease help me run again without the hurts!"

i love broadway at the beach. they have so many shops and good places to eat (and drink). whenever i'm there during hte summer we always go there atleast one night to the bars at "celebrity square"...this past summer we just sat outside one of the bars and people watched...it was quite entertaining and i highly recommend.
ReplyDeletelet me know what wonderworks is like. that was just added in the last year and my mom and i almost make a visit this past august but we just stood outside and looked at it instead.
I LOVE, LOVE Broadway at the Beach.

ReplyDeletePoor Bella, she's looking rather sad lately. Glad you got her some ice cream though.... that usually puts me in a better mood. My vote is for you visiting the upside down building this weekend... sharks are overrated anyways. ;)
ReplyDeleteAw! Poor Bella! My old dog pixie always had hip and knee issues. I think it's a little dog thing. I hope that she is able to get her surgery!

I got engaged in Myrtle Beach back in July. I didn't really understand the Broadway on the Beach either. Maybe since Hard Rock/Planet Hollywood is there? Hm, maybe not. All I know is that it's verrrry easy to spend too much money there, especially on food!
ReplyDeleteI just sent up a prayer for little Bella! Hope she gets better soon!
I love the bracelet idea! I'd totally buy one:)
ReplyDeleteMyrtle Beach has been on my tour of SC plan to tour list since I moved here in June. Your pictures make the shops look great. And I am always for eating my weight in any sushi rolls!
ReplyDeleteFroyoz is the besT! When we were in Myrtle Beach we went there 3 nights in a row. We couldn't get enough of it! :)

ReplyDeletepoor little pup :( it hurts my heart. bear was sick a lot..that dog cost me a bloody fortune..and i ended up moving away and having to give him up..im still paying off his credit card bill..and yes, he had his own credit card, and vet insurance (which i highly recommend btw)
ReplyDeletelove and hugs to you and the babe!
Your pictures look amazing!
ReplyDeletePoor Bella! Post your bracelets! I think we all need one!
That upside down place looks neat. They have one of those in Gatlinburg, TN ~ I think.
I hope the frozen yogurt made bella feel better! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope the frozen yogurt made bella feel better! :)
ReplyDeleteThat place sounds so fun! I must admit, I was bummed to read its not really at a beach, but that's ok! I'd still go visit someday :)
ReplyDeleteYour jacket is WAY cute by the way!
Perfect pictures! The quality is so great at night! Poor little bella! I hope she gets better soon, that frozen yogurt ought to lift her mood!
