Now that I have the important stuff out of the way I can rewind a little bit and do some much needed catching up on my life these past three weeks.  I procrastinated making our Christmas cards this year, which was mostly because I was NOT happy with our pictures we took at the beach.  Husband set the ISO wrong (basically that is a setting that has to do with light) so all of the pictures came out kind of dark and slightly grainy.  He realized this as we were LEAVING and I was so over it at that point that I said "we'll just make one of them work".... well.  We should have just gone back.  Here, I will show you some of the pictures from that day.  I probably won't be sending cards out, except to family, so consider this your holiday greeting from me. :)

wish we had payed more attention to the settings because these would have made great pictures...

but alas, they are grainy and dark ;(

Now I have to talk to you about last night.  Husband and I went to see Breaking Dawn.  (Yeah, I had NOT seen it yet).  He didn't want to go, but he wanted to spend time with me---so off we went. 

{COMMENCE RANT}

 I have to tell you that I was a little disappointed. Okay, I was a LOT disappointed. The movie DRAGGED through the first half hour.  And what is wrong with Kristen Stewart?  It was the wedding scene and she never barely cracked a smile.  I can't stand that she has two emotions: angsty and broody. Oh, and occasionally she makes that dying animal scream sound.  So annoying.  But you know what?  Even Robert Pattinson didn't do it for me.  I just wanted a lot more from the movie and it lacked.  Taylor Lautner carried the whole thing if you ask me. I don't know... between the lackluster performances and my husband rolling his eyes and scoffing every 5 seconds (he especially made fun of the scene where the wolf pack are fighting) I didn't really enjoy the movie.

Will I go see the next one though?  Probably.  I am too far in it I guess.  SO, I know that I am like the last person on the planet to see the movie, but what did everyone else think?  Were you as disappointed as I was?
