Dear EVERYONE, our next job is taking us north to San Jose, California! That's right, NorCal here we come!
Dear Napa Valley, Yosemite & San Fran, I will be visiting all of you while we live in San Jose. So excited to be 40 minutes from San Fran so I can have more of that chowder!
Dear St. George, Utah, I can't wait to spend a weekend visiting good friends and taking in all your natural beauty.
Dear Husband, Congratulations to you-- you found a job one week before this one ended which is a vast improvement from the 24 hours last time! I was still stressed but not
as much when the offer came through.
Dear Dallas Texas, You are still on our list of places to travel and we will be coming to live in you soon and very soon.

ReplyDeleteAhhhh!!! I had a really good feeling that you guys would be headed somewhere close to SF! Yay for San Jose!! So exciting!!! And I love St. George! When I was living in Salt Lake City, we made a few trips down there and wow, the red rock is just gorgeous!

SO cool that your husband's job takes you guys all over the country. Even if it is tiring at some points, not many people can say they've lived a life like you have :)

My husband works for Google, and that is what brought us out there a couple weeks ago, he works from home here in Mpls. but he got the chance to work at the googleplex in Mountain View for 3 days, so then we just made a vacation out of it with my daughter for a week for her spring break. Anyway I grew up in Fremont and moved to Mpls. when I was 8! We spent half our time a couple weeks ago in the San Jose area and then of course, San Fran, but I will email you a few places we went to when we were in the San Jose area (not that you'll need my help:)

San Jose is my hometown! :) Since I know you guys like to try out local restaurants, you definitely need to visit La Victoria's (also known as La Vic's), Eric's Deli Cafe and Marianne's Ice Cream in Santa Cruz. Those three are my all time favorites!
