I know, I don't know why I am tempting all of you with pictures of sweets, but I can't help myself. Desserts are beautiful, and cupcakes are my favorite--especially gourmet cupcakes. Which is why last week we finally made the short trip into Beverly Hills to visit Crumbs Bake Shop.

| Red Velvet Cupcake with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting |
Crumbs is a cute little bakery a hop, skip and jump away from Rodeo Drive. We went in on a Friday afternoon for a mid-day snack and it was empty. The bake shop smelled divine and the diverse flavor pairings and cupcake options were incredible. We decided to try the red velvet cupcake with chocolate cream cheese frosting because it was the cupcake of the week. Isn't she a beauty?! At $3.50 (roughly) per cupcake, they are a little pricey but really good. The red velvet cake could have been a little more moist but the creaminess of the frosting made up for it. Next time I will make sure to get a glass of milk to go with my cupcake! I hesitate to give this bake shop an overall rating because I feel like I would need to try a few more cupcakes, but on aesthetics, service, selection and first impressions I would give it an 8/10!
Crumbs

You're making me hungry at work, girl!! Crumbs is one of my favorite cupcakes shops. Have you tried Sprinkles? xo
