Hey friends....this week has been insanity.  On every level. We had a fabulous trip to Utah (although traffic coming through Vegas was terrible both ways, but I will save those stories for next week...)  Monday morning I got up and hit the apartment search hard and came up with a few options.  The rest of that day, literally from 7am to 9pm was spent calling, researching, crunching numbers, finding a furniture company, and doing all the detail work takes so much time.  We budgeted out several scenarios, trying to decide what would be the best for us financially in the long run. I did the same thing all day Tuesday.  I wish I were kidding...  thankfully, its Wednesday night and all contracts have been signed, utilities are set up and things are ready for us when we drive up Saturday.  Speaking of the drive, we have decided to drive up via Pacific Coast Highway--- all 8 hours of it from LA to San Fran! It is going to add an hour 1/2 onto our drive, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.  How cool will it be to say we almost drove the entire California coast?  Pretty worth it, I think.

Anyhow, I finally finished up the final San Francisco pictures, and I was pretty disappointed with some of them but I am SO EXCITED that we will be living only 40 minutes from the city and will get to go back on a sunny warm day and take more pictures of the area, see Alcatraz and eat more chowder!

chinatown!

baby b...she always sits on our laps when we drive so she can stick her head out the window...

golden gate park carousel

I wanted to go here, but didn't want to pay $10 to look at flowers...

could I look any creepier?  and this was the best one out of the five pictures my husband took.  #FAIL

and this is me channeling my inner ghost... are you spooked?

I just think this area looked creepy!  loved it..

my little peanut seriously needs to be in commercials.  I know I am biased though.

we took some time to stop and smell the proverbial roses....or in these case, cherry blossoms

golden gate park is miles of sprawling, lush greenery with paths and trails and secret gardens. its lovely.

bison!

these guys were massive and could MOVE.  wouldn't want to be in their path at all!

loved the landscape up here...

  19. LOVE your picturess! It's seriously inspiring me to master my camera. I finally started learning how to shoot manually last night. Ugh!

I must say that I let out a ginormous squeal at work when I saw that picture of Bella sitting on the post in front of the bridge. DYING. Her cuteness, it slays me.

Also, I've had to find a place to live/get utilities set up/pack/move and all that jazz in a matter of days too. It is a stress like no other! I feel you, girl. Godspeed!
