After a three hour drive, two hour delay, 4 1/2 hour flight and another short drive we are back in California. We were almost up for 24 hours straight because we got up at 7am east coast time and didn't crawl into but until 4:30am east coast time. Our trip home was a huge success and we crammed so many things into it I don't even know where to begin. We got to visit with my parents, do some impromptu photo shoots with my new lens, I got to go to church with my dad twice and hear him preach which I always miss when we are away, we met our new nephew who is a tiny peanut and so sweet, we met up with my blog friend-turned real life friend in Grand Rapids, took pictures of a good friends son Colston who is only 2 months old, hung out with all 6 of nephews and nieces, I learned to play yahtzee, cheered at two t-ball games, colored with my niece, Bella met her cousin Addy, a goldendoodle and we ate so much food I think I gained 10 pounds. Our flights were great despite the delays and Bella even got to meet the captain on the plane from chicago to san francisco. She is so spoiled. :) This morning I am taking a little break and getting my self settled in and then I foresee most of the day spent at the computer editing the over 2,000 (yes, THOUSAND) pictures I managed to take in 5 days. I can't wait to spend this week sharing our time back home!
Over & Out,
A
