I Lied...

So, yesterday (or maybe the day before?) I told you that I was ON TOP of things and that I was going to be posting all week and that I had all my stuff together and that was kind of mostly true, except for the fact that I thought yesterday was Monday because my brain has been in overdrive.  As far as the nutrition & fitness posts, I have the next two weeks ready to go, minus the nutrition write-up and I really don't want to slack on these, so I am going to take this week as a break while we are home in Michigan and resume them next week.  I figured you would appreciate me publishing quality information here instead of throwing something together really quickly, especially when it comes to your health.  Right?  Right.    In other news, we made it in one piece to Michigan.  Bella did amazing on the airplane ride. Actually, after we made it through security they let me carry her through the airport and hold her while at the gate and about 20 minutes before out flight I gave her a tiny bit of benadryl.  We boarded, took off and she did really good minus a few small whines that I am sure no one but me (being over-protected and worried) noticed.  About 15 minutes after departure I took her out of the bag and she sat on my lap for the duration of the flight.  The flight attendants didn't say a word about her lounging in the seat with us, probably because the flight was really empty.  Either way, we made it to Chicago and then drove three more hours and got in around 4am.  After a few hours (literally!) of sleep, we have been up visiting my parents.  We have already stuffed ourselves with P.F. Changs and I have picked up a brand new toy-- my new canon 50mm f/1.4 lens!   I was so excited I made my parents get out of the car and snapped some photos of them.  The above photo is SOOC minus some iphoto tweaks because I only have my laptop with me and my beloved photoshop CS5 is at home on the desktop!

We are having a blast, but time got away from me so much that I am throwing the white flag in and won't be back to this blog until Monday (Not including Friday's Letters which WILL still be going on!)
