Sunday after church we headed to Santa Cruz for an impromptu beach day. We didn't take too many pictures-- I mostly ran around with Bella and didn't concern myself with capturing the day entirely. And even though we don't have a lot of good pictures from the day, the memories are perfect. Sometimes its nice to step away from the technology and soak up the day. Although Bella is having knee issues, you wouldn't have known it. She swam, dug and ate every clump of seaweed on the beach! I would say our Sunday afternoon was a complete success!

ReplyDeleteAw Santa Cruz! I grew up 20 minutes from there. I spent so many days lying on the beach and going to the boardwalk. I hope you really enjoyed it. I want to make the drive back up there.
ReplyDeleteI miss Santa Cruz so so so much. Definitely one of my favorite California coastal towns. If you ever get the chance, Monterey and Carmel [especially Carmel] are gorgeous as well. Not too far from Santa Cruz either!
