Dear Friday, How did you get here so soon? I mean, talk about a crazy-fast week! Dear Lake Tahoe, I can't wait to see you and watch fireworks and hang out with Michaela this weekend! Dear KikiLa'Rue, We were destined to meet. You see, I am not that fashionable, and I definitely don't have a huge clothing budget, so the fact that you offer affordable, adorable clothing is right up my alley. Take this tank (pictured above & below) it is only $34 bucks. I mean... amazing! Dear Husband, Last night you said that you would do the dishes if I made dinner from now on.... here we are, day one and the dishes are still in the sink. cricket.....cricket. Dear Bella, You are my little peanut of love, but you kind of stink from rolling in the grass so you have to get a bath okay? Dear Business Cards, You came in and I love you. I can't wait to pass you out to friends, family, strangers, homeless people, etc. :) You can see them on my facebook page here! Dear Husband, Last year 4th of July was spent in Denver, this year Tahoe, next year? Who knows! I love living this crazy life with you (and Bella of course).

ReplyDeleteOh, every time you talk about California, I miss it more and more. I love Tahoe! I never made it up for Fourth of July, but their Halloween and New Year's parties were the best. I'm so jealous! If you ever decide to do fireworks in SF, Treasure Island has one of the greatest views of the bay, especially if you're down by the Naval base. Amazing!

Sigh, one of my beagles love to roll in the dirt. I always groan when she runs past me and her fur is brown instead of black. I've woken up a couple of times with the dishes washed and I didn't even have to ask. It was better than getting flowers! It takes time and telling him I need help around the house a few times though.

ReplyDeleteFuture Hubby and I spent FOREVER fighting over doing the dishes. When my student loans got to be a bit much we made a deal. He pays the cable/internet and I do the dishes. Seriously... it was a life saver. Until we get a house with a dishwasher of course!

I am always trying to get my hubby to do the dishes.. and I wake up this morning and find.... *gasp* dirty dishes in the sink and a few on my counter. UGH! And the cricket part seriously made me laugh so hard! Cause I feel you on that!

I'm cracking up about your dishes letter to your husband. That's always been the deal in our house too. Somehow it doesn't work out the way I had hoped. There always seems to be dishes in the sink and it drives me crazy how long it takes him to do them. I don't complain to him though, at least he's helping...in his own time...haha :)

ReplyDeleteThat you "I'll cook you do the dishes" hasn't served me well. When we first made the deal it worked...but as the weeks passed it become "no you have to put everything in the sink" to "you do it tonight...dinner wasn't a big deal". Ha! And I LOVE that kiki la'rue top! The bit of fuchsia pops so nicely.
