When I say that the days are flying by over here, I mean it. How is it Monday? How is it mid-July? How are we only in California for a few more weeks? I just am floored by how fast time is ticking over here. It seems like I wake up, watch the news, drink some coffee, cuddle with Bella and by the time I look at a clock it is lunchtime. Add to that all the photo sessions and editing I have been doing and well, I have been pretty MIA from my blog. And I think it is everyone, not just me... we are all socking up the last few weeks of hot summer days, and knowing that in about 6 weeks schools will be starting up again, that first hint of crisp cool air will make its debut (we will be living in Michigan, and fall usually makes its appearance at some point in September). Someone sent me an e-mail a few days ago saying "I don't think you are ever going to look back on your life and go Gosh, I wish I had blogged more!" and it is so true! So while I am cringing a little over HOW MUCH stuff I want to share here, I am okay with letting July run its course and really enjoy what short time I have left in California. I can already feel my inspiration returning and I just know that one of these days I am going to set down and edit the over 10,000 pictures I have to go through. You think I am exaggerating? Boy do I wish that were true...
Yesterday I met up with a gorgeous couple and we shot a sunset engagement session. Dreamy is the only word I can think to describe the water and the sun, and just how adorably in love these two were. More to come soon, hope everyone has a great Monday! I am so looking forward to what is to come tonight on the Bachelorette. Let's just say, its gonna be HUGE y'all. I promise. :)

I didn't realize you were moving back to Michigan so soon! I contacted you a while ago saying we may be in Northern California soon and possibly booking a maternity session. Unfortunately, I think you'll be back in Michigan before we are able to make it up there (post baby). HOWEVER, we will be back in the mitten {hopefully} around Thanksgiving and will contact you about setting up a session if you're going to be around/available then.
