currently coveting this studded bag from Apricot Lane
Dear Husband, Thanks for letting me schedule a trip to the outlets--I (kinda) promise not to spend too much money. Dear Bella, You haven't been doing so good in your dog obedience class. I know you are spoiled, but hiding from the instructor because she won't give you all the treats in her hand is kind of bratty. Dear Fall Leaves, You are starting to change and it is getting REALLY gorgeous around Michigan. I love it! Dear Christmas Music, You were playing a few nights ago in a sushi restaurant you were in and I didn't hate it. Dear Michigan, Since living in Colorado, South Carolina and California we have basically had a never ending summer. But I am ready-- I want snow, blizzards, and all your wintery fury. Let's have a SUPER white Christmas this year. Dear Fall TV Shows, I am getting so excited-- I already am really enjoying the new season of Glee, New Girl and Grimm. Once Upon a Time starts this weekend!  I can't wait for Vampire Diaries! YAY! and Dear Husband, You know how when I wash, dry and fold your clothes and then require that you only put them away?  Well, I mean that... and your stack of shirts have been on  the floor for 6 days now. So.....  wanna take care of that? And finally, Dear Blog Friends, Here is another worship song I am  love love loving lately.

  10. I am so jealous of fall leaves and fall temps! I live in South Florida so I totally understand the never-ending summer. I am a native Floridian and I would move in a heartbeat to somewhere with seasons but my fiancé and I have good jobs so...we stay! I am SO excited for Once Upon A Time & Vamp Diaries too!! Have a great weekend!

  19. ooo shopping trip! I got excited for you when I read that : )

Please don't say winter... not yet... my heart can't take it

My mom used to leave my clothes in nicely folded piles after she washed them and would get SOOO upset when I wouldn't put them away... ever since I started doing my own laundry, I've gotten why lol

  20. Oh I hear ya, girl, about the darn laundry! Can't they just put it away, please?? :) I'm hoping for a white, white Christmas, too. It will be our little guy's first one!

    Have a great weekend!

  21. My husband refuses to put his laundry away too! Sometimes I even set it directly on the bed and he just moves it to the top of the dresser.

  22. I live in northern Michigan and I am so loving the start of fall.. The leaves are changing and I too am hoping for a true Michigan winter with tons of snow, whipping winds, the frozen peaks on Lk. Michigan. Happy fall and here's to winter, may it arrive with a vengeance! :D

  23. All my husband has to do is put away the clothes too. He just digs them out of the basket each day instead. Never mind that we need that basket for the dirty clothes. :)

  24. Ugh. Thats so annoying. My husband does the same thing. I wash, dry and fold and then he can't even put them in the drawer. Grr.

  25. The letter to Bella made me laugh. My dog has the opposite problem. When she is in an obedience class she will listen during the class. Then we get home and she acts like she has no idea what I'm talking about. Frustrating...

  26. Oh, husbands. So funny about the laundry. And I absolutely adore all things Hillsong United!! I attended one of their churches when I was studying abroad in Paris, and it was the best worship of my life. I miss that. Thanks for the new song! Have fun shopping! Outlets are the best.

  27. I love listening to my Hillsong Pandora station while I cook. It's fun to bust out in song right in the middle of the kitchen sometimes, right?

    Thank you for sharing!

  28. That bag is amazing. I adore it. And nice job standing your ground on the laundry. I stopped doing my husband's laundry a couple of weeks ago to prove a point, and as he has no clean clothes and all of his dirty clothes are strewn across the bedroom floor on his side of the bed, I'd say he's about to learn. :)

  29. Oh how I love New Girl. And yay for a shopping trip to the outlets!!

  30. Dear Apricot Lane, can I have that $600 bag now for modeling it?! Oh, and can Ashley have one too?? Yay for Autumn in Michigan! Too bad it's still 85 in LA!

  31. ASHLEY!!!! HUsband to husband...they could be twins. i do all the washing, ironing, drying but i refuse to put them away..then they sit on my couch for a WEEK!!! I try to not saying anything and I will move his clothes to his spot on the couch and I will watch that little turd walk over pick up the stack and move them to the middle of the couch!! really?! really?!

can we send the husbands to obedience classes instead?

  32. You are in MI? What city?
Let's pray for a white Christmas, last year (@ least in Lansing) wasn't very white.
There was one good snow last year at the end of November.

  39. Oh my gosh, what is it with husbands and laundry? I place things on the bed for him to put away, and he just moves them to the dresser when he wants to get in bed...and then NEVER puts them in the drawer in that exact dresser! Come on, it's five seconds more effort! Glad I'm not the only one dealing with that...
