Dear Virus/Pink Eye/Ear Infection/Etc: Please go away. It's been a week. Haven't I suffered enough? Dear Husband, We are doing it! We are buying a house! It's very scary and a little unnerving, but exciting, isn't it? I hope the home inspection goes well tomorrow and we can be in our very home before Valentine's Day this year! Dear Bella Louise, this is one of my favorite pictures of you. I had just woken you up, you had been laying in the sun on the porch. I can't wait until you have your own big backyard to run and play in! Dear Lord, I have so many things to be thankful for right now. Please keep my heart tuned to you, and trusting you in all things. Dear Husband, Tonight our Friday night is going to consist of cough drops, kleenex and furniture shopping! I hope they don't kick us out of the store for blowing our noses too much. Dear Blog Friends, I really meant to get that new button done, but I seriously think I have had the PLAGUE this past week. Fingers crossed that next week I will have this all together and you can use the pretty new button! Until then, do whatever you want! :) ALSO, be on the lookout next week for some freebie flag graphics!

DeleteI used the old button :) Hope thats ok! Also hope that you feel better asap. Love the pic! Home buying is so exciting and stressful at the same time. I've been watching the market for about a year and I think we are pulling the trigger this year too!
ReplyDeleteyes that is fine about the button :) also, yes, the market looks like its finally starting to turn back in the right direction so we are thinking this was a perfect time to lock something in at a fairly low price and hopefully in 7-10 years we can turn around and get more out of it when we go to our next place!
DeleteYour dog is SOOO cute. How exciting about the house. Prayers that the inspection goes well and you pink eye leaves.
ReplyDeleteaw thanks! we think so, she is our little baby! :) and thanks for the well wishes!
DeleteI feel you on the pink eye thing. I had an awful case a few years ago. I hope it gets better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteRamblings of a Suburban Mom
ugh, its the worst! I was driving yesterday and couldn't really see the road and I was thinking how unsafe it was that I was driving with only one eye to see out of! I hope my medicine nips it in the bud by this evening!
DeleteDo you have eye-droppies? I had it once like, ten years ago and it was miserable. It's painful and super contagious. Putting a warm compress (just like a warm washcloth) over it can really help with the discomfort.
DeleteHope you get better soon. And just a heads up in case you haven't heard this before. Make sure you don't open any new lines of credit before closing on the house. That even includes financing for furniture. My real estate agent said he had seen people go and buy a bunch of furniture on credit and then when the bank pulls your credit right before closing they see the added debt and refuse the loan. Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteOh! That is good to know--- usually you think once you have been pre-approved and your loan application is in that its all good, but its good to remember that taking out any credit could jeopardize that! Generally, as a rule we don't finance anything we buy if we don't have to....we think that if we can't pay for it, we probably don't need it! So far that has saved us a lot of headache but thanks so much for sharing that info!!! ;)
Deletethanks for hosting! have a happy weekend!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou too katy!

How exciting that you and your husband are purchasing your first house! I can't wait until we have the opportunity to do that; its a little too uncertain right now with my husband in the military. Good luck with inspection and feel better soon!
