Among the many reasons to love the Christmas season is the fact that I always get to pick out a new "Christmas" outfit for church. This year, as soon as I saw this Chevron striped dress I knew that this was THE Christmas dress for me! This dress is from Kiki La'Rue and if you have followed my blog for any length of time you have probably heard me mention this online boutique. The owner, Becka, is super sweet and offers amazing customer service. Plus, she picks out cute items like this dress! I love the gold belt detail that came with this outfit as well. I am pretty sure this is going to end up being my birthday dress (January 30th!) too. Which is fine by me, because who wouldn't want to wear this over and over?!
I also would like to direct your attention to the gorgeous turquoise and gold bracelet I have on in these photos. This bracelet was sent to me by Keltie Leanne Designs. If you have a minute, you should really click that link and look at the jewelry. So beautiful. I love all the bracelets, but especially the one I am wearing. I have always loved the turquoise and gold combination and this bracelet has quickly become a wardrobe staple for me (along with my flea market watch). :) I wear it with almost everything. It's perfectly delicate and pairs so well with my rose gold watch. Basically, this outfit was a win for me.
I didn't even mind singing on stage at church with my tights sucking the life out of my stomach. Orrr, maybe it was that I had hotflashes and had to roll the tops of my tights down so I cold breathe properly before going on stage... yeah, maybe the second one.

ReplyDeleteI agree, getting dressed up for Christmas is so much fun!
This year was me, ten minutes before the Christmas Eve service started, throwing my outfit on (good thing I live a minute away from the church!).
Long day :)
Happy New Year!
