SIDE TWIST HAIR TUTORIAL

If you are anything like me, hair styling has never been your forte.  If you aren't like me, then well, I am jealous of you and I wish that someone had taught me the basics of hair care (or how to braid for that matter) back when apparently everyone else learned how to do it. The above photo is usually how I have my hair...down, straightened and "hand-poofed" because I am from the south and I think the bigger the volume, the better.  BUT, sometimes its nice to change it up...even it if its just a slightly tiny variation to the everyday norm.  So lately, I have been putting this little side twist into rotation.  It's very sweet looking and keeps the shorter hair from getting into my face, but since its still down, I am still warm-- which is essential in the frozen tundra that currently is Michigan.

AND DONE. But, this hair style still doesn't make your 12 weeks without a haircut, fried ends look ANY better.... as we can all tell from the photo below.  UGH. Hey, I can't do everything people! Isn't brushing my hair enough?!?

  7. your hair is so pretty! I think your current length works really well with your face - you're just gorg. :) also, like Courtney said above, if you're trying to grow out your hair you definitely need to get your ends trimmed every few months. it helps your hair stay healthy so that it can grow better!

  13. That's so cute!!... And easy!!! My hair is short, but I'll try this. It's a pain in the back because I want to let it grow, but it doesn't grow fast enough...:))
