Reason number #287 that I am not a "fashion blogger": I am too much of a wuss to go stand outside in 18 degree weather and pretend like I am on a tropical island. If I DID do that, I wouldn't have to resort to taking photos inside where the light is all weird. Also, one of the not so fun things about Michigan is that is graces us with gray, bleak skies for several months not even allowing the smallest patch of sunlight to peek through. Let's just say I've been lacking inspiration, and vitamin d and it makes me one sad, non-blogging person. Basically, I need it to be spring. I need some warmth, and I need some sun. Just a little bit. Actually, our family is all down at Disney this week and we are so feeling a little jealous because we were supposed to go but then made the adult decision to use that money towards practical things like furniture for out new home. Being an adult is so lame sometimes. However, we CLOSE on our house tomorrow and will have possession on Wednesday! I am SO excited to be in our new home (but maybe not as excited as I would have been sitting poolside with an umbrella drink...you know?)
Anyways, I'm finally getting a post up on my birthday outfit from almost a month ago. I was just a little over 2 months pregnant and still feeling tired 24/7 but I managed to kind of curl my hair and put together an outfit with this adorable top I received from Zamrie. If you haven't heard of Zamrie, you should click that link and check them out. The clothes are amazing and adorable and so flattering to any body type. This top looks so great on me, and I know I can also wear it for a few more months into my pregnancy. And let's just talk about the cut-out in the back? For me, that is the perfect amount of skin. Just a little something. AND Zamrie is offering 50% off anything from the shop when you enter the code NEWLYweds. Guys. that is pretty amazing and great deal because a lot of the fall line is on sale now already!
I also want to talk about this little clutch I have. Gigi New York sent me this clutch a few weeks ago and I have been loving it. I use it mostly for church on Sunday's and for date night when I just need a few items like my cell, lip gloss and gum. It matches some neutral flats I got for Christmas and I can't wait to wear the combo during spring. I love the versatility of the bag, the color goes with just about everything and the leather is so smooth and luxurious. Its super fancy. And there is a tassle. WIN. Use the code SEASON to get 20% off any order! And be sure to check out their new spring line! I love the embossed python print!
