Today I'm asking for prayers for my husband, Jonathan. He has been having some medical issues that could either be a simple fix with medication, or something that could be quite serious or require surgery. Yesterday we sat in the ER/Urgent Care to no avail because he needs to see a very specific doctor-- we left with no answers and of course, I've been a little bit of wreck. It's funny how the older we get, the more real our mortality becomes. So, these issues he has been having have been bouncing around inside of my head and if you are like me, I always start imagining the worst case scenario. I hope to share more with you all, perhaps after he has finally gotten into the correct doctor and been checked, but until then I really covet your prayers for my precious husband. He's the strong/healthy one in our family and seeing him in pain and not feeling his best is really hard.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear this, my hubs went through something a few months back and did end up having surgery...he now has to be monitored every 3-6 months but hes ok, and your husband will be too:)

ReplyDeleteI will definitely pray for Jonathan. I know what it's like to be in your shoes. When we found out my hubby was ill, it was all I could do to not got crazy. It's been 7 years & his issue isn't fully resolved, but it's under control. We are praying for a transplant soon.
