LEATHER & GOLD

Wow, I can't believe Thanksgiving weekend is already over.  Talk about a fast four day weekend! We managed to fit lots of fun into our four days, starting with two Thanksgiving dinners last Thursday.  I was in my stretchy pants for sure, and stuffed is an understatement.  We ended our Thanksgiving day with hot coffee and warm pumpkin pie and Jonathan headed out to get a few black friday deals.  Friday we were up and got lots of our shopping done in the morning, and then the husband went to play football with the guys while Caleb and I napped at home.  Later we headed out to se Catching Fire, which was really great! (I also want to see the Book Thief, have you all seen the previews for that?!)  Saturday I had a photo session and we finished decorating the house with all our Christmas decorations.  After church Sunday we all napped together and Jonathan and I wrapped lots of gifts. It is so fun to buy gifts for Caleb, and get to be "santa" to him.  Jonathan and I reminisced about how much fun it was to wait for Santa on Christmas Eve-- I can still remember waking up at 3am with my younger brother and sleeping by  the presents until morning and talking about what we thought was in all the packages, where we thought Santa was in the world and what the elves were doing in the North Pole.  It was magical, and I am so excited that Caleb will one day experience those things.

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving weekends were as equally fattening, relaxing and full of joy!

    1. haha I don't have any secrets, except I use a wand curling iron so there aren't any clamp marks and the bottoms stay a little straight :) otherwise, I don't brush my hair and only wash it every 2-3 days! eek!
