Mornings for me have looked a lot different than they used to these past almost 4 months (four months?! what??) Instead of waking up and starting to work, I wake up and take care of our little man. But you know what? Mornings are much more fun now because when Caleb wakes up he is FULL of energy. Little mister loves to talk and play and kick (now I know why those last few months of pregnancy was so painful, he kicks non-stop)! This past week he REALLY found his voice and squeals and talks and is so loud. I had to leave church service yesterday because he started babbling about something and was being so silly! If any of you follow me on instagram you probably saw the video of his chatting--- so imagine that, but for hours at a time. He usually always wears himself out and is ready for a short morning nap and I usually take that time to get dressed, shower and clean up. He naps on our bed (don't worry, its a king and he is in the middle with pillows on either side) and I can stand in the bathroom and watch him. If I get extra time I make a cup of tea, grab my planner and notebook and answer e-mails, make a list for what I need to accomplish that day and use it as prayer time. I love the little routine we have established and I am so glad that he is an easy-going baby and I can get things done around the house! The best part about mornings though? Getting to see the SWEETEST little smile when he wakes up. Best, ever.
