I love, love, love San Francisco. Husband and I were going to go this year (kind of an informal annual trip for us) but we're buying a house in the next couple weeks so San Fran will have to wait.
ReplyDeleteI am so very excited to finally find a fellow blogger that calls Michigan home! Yay.

You're going to love your visit to St. George & The Grand Canyon! It's so, so beautiful! But then again, I'm from Utah so I'm a little biased! :)

A Sigh and Sanity
You used to live in my 'hood! I live in San Jose, CA.
ReplyDeleteSan Francisco is amazing, but you should definitely check out Monterey and Carmel in the Monterey Bay. Ohmagoodness, it's amazing. If you're into hiking and whatnot, see Lassen Volcanic National Park/Shasta Mountain/Lake Shasta up by the Oregon boarder. It's breathtakingly beautiful. Aaaaannnnd, a little town called Fort Bragg, California, is maybe four-five hours away from you right now. The town isn't that great [dumpy, old, not much to do] but they're famous for their sea glass that lands on the beach. I cam home with bags full of it. Awesome you all get to travel and move so much! I experience a little of that with the military...currently living in Germany and loving it!!
